Eco-Therapy

Eco-therapy is an applied Eco-psychology and a relatively new form of therapy. It comes in many forms and approaches. One shared belief is central; our connection with nature.

Within our eco-therapy sessions, you’ll experience, complete activities and immerse yourself in the natural world. Examples are mindful walking, eco-arts, horticultural therapy, forest bathing and there are many more.

Kate is a qualified Eco-therapist and she organises mindful walks, guided garden tours and eco-art sessions for individuals and small groups. By actively or quietly submerging into nature, we become more mindful and calm. We learn to be more balanced in our mental and physical well-being. We start to realise it’s okay to let go. And that is where the healing process can start to take place!

Kate has experienced many emotionally challenging phases in her life. By embracing nature, she learned to deal with depression/ anxiety, accept the loss of dear ones, go through her marriage break up and settle down after 2 emigrations.

A magical, natural world lies at your footstep to explore!

Contact Kate for more information about our Eco-therapy sessions or visit the website of Therapeutic Horticulture Australia for more related sessions (www.tha.org.au)
